Leading areas
Tunku Abdul Rahman University is a multidisciplinary private educational institution in Malaysia that has amazed everyone with its phenomenal growth and development since its founding in 2002. Today, the university offers 117 study programs based on 9 faculties, 3 training centers and 3 institutes, and educates many foreigners, due to the emphasized international approach to education.
In addition to local students, Europeans, Arabs, Russians, Americans, Koreans, Chinese and representatives of other nationalities study here.
University students note that the educational process here is based on constant studies and discipline, so there is little time for rest. The Asian mentality leaves an imprint on the learning process, so students are not required to be particularly active in the classroom, but here they are asked a lot of tasks and the students work hard on the material and prepare for exams.
Practice shows that it is this approach to study that leads local students to success, self-confidence and their knowledge.
At UTAR you can get an education in engineering and construction, information and communication technologies, medicine and healthcare, agriculture and food processing, mathematics and management, accounting, business and economics, art and design, social sciences and pedagogy.
By the way, very professional lecturers teach here, the kindness and upbringing of which is noted by all students.
The university’s research potential is also great, which is carried out through the work of 27 research centers and the UTAR Global Research Network, a platform on the basis of which university representatives can work together with scientists, researchers and technologists from around the world.
A distinctive feature of the university is a balanced balance between the theoretical and practical component of the courses. Students here are prepared for productive work for the benefit of society, and the experience gained at the university allows 97% of graduates to successfully find employment within 6 months after receiving a diploma. By the way, among the graduates of UTAR there are many entrepreneurs and leaders of international corporations.

Campus
One of the campuses of Tunku University Abdul Rahman
Depending on the program, students of Tunku University Abdul Rahman study in one of the two campuses of the university - Sangai Long, Selangor, and Kampar, Perak. Each of these campuses is unique in its own way. It is worth noting separately that, offering all the modern Western opportunities for learning and leisure, the university campuses have an amazing Asian flavor, which is observed in everything from architectural solutions to the atmosphere at the university.
Campus Kampar is surrounded by amazing wildlife, just 2 hours drive from the capital of Kuala Lumpur. In 2013, this campus won the prestigious Malaysian Institute of Architects ’(PAM) Award from its modernly equipped buildings, which are architecturally unique.
The Campus Campar is constantly expanding, includes 5 faculties, the necessary equipment for study and leisure, and also offers various opportunities for an active lifestyle. Students spend their free time in the nearest cafes, play sports on campus, and in the evenings have picnics in the park by the lake.
Due to the location of the Campus Sangai Long, in turn, gives students the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of urban life. Nearby are bank branches, shopping centers, restaurants, etc. At the same time, the campus itself includes 4 faculties, as well as a large library, laboratories, computer classes and even a small theater.
By the way, in UTAR there is a secret dress code, according to which students should wear practical clothes in casual style. On the one hand, this contributes to a serious educational atmosphere, and on the other, it complies with the ethical and religious standards adopted in Malaysia.
University students are available accommodation in 5 residences and various accommodation options - from accommodation in a room for several people to renting individual houses. More information on current offers and their cost can be found here.
