Yes, your children will sooner or later fall head over heels in love. And they will have their first sex. And while you still think that "it is not yet time" and "he is still small" - better pull yourself together and talk with them finally about sex (and about love) a little in advance. Psychologist Marina Travkova, speaker of the festival "I live - I study", which will be held in Moscow from May 31 to June 2, tells how and when to do it correctly.

When a conscious parent decides to talk to children about sex, the most difficult thing for him is the description of the sexual act itself. Many have already fully learned, without a nervous giggle, to say that for the birth of a child, a mother and a father, a man and a woman are needed. “Men have a special cell - a sperm, and women have an egg. They combine and get an embryo, a small person, ”and so on. All this, as a rule, is accompanied by a book, where the illustrations show the connection of the caudate and the round, and also quite honestly depicts the very birth of the child. But “that very thing” - how exactly these cells are connected, is omitted by both adults and most of the books.
Another inquisitive child asks for details and hears something like "they hug tightly" or "the sperm is moving to the egg." And then the parents discover that the child is afraid of spermatozoa, which in his mind "run" not only on the parent's bed, but in general - everywhere. But what if?
1. Learn to pronounce the right words
Penis, vagina, vulva, labia, vagina, semen and more. We have difficulty describing sexuality. We either go to the sublime: "its jade stem has penetrated its jade gates", or we become medical official, or we descend to obscenity. Separately, there are all sorts of "Her breasts jumped towards him."
Therefore, task N1: description language.
The child should know that he has a bottom, buttocks, anus, breasts, nipples, penis or vagina, pubis, scrotum, testicles, and so on.

Waldorf pedagogy. Almost everyone has heard, but not everyone understands its essence. What "camp" are you in? 😉
At the festival "I live - I study", which will be held on May 31 - June 2 in Moscow, we will touch on the Waldorf theme both in a discussion about various concepts of the child's age development, and at a master class on Waldorf games for large groups, where the experience will be applied Swedish and Russian schools.

So what are the main ideas of Waldorf pedagogy?
- Arrangement of a children's room for a creative atmosphere. Natural materials and discreet colors in the design. Lack of plastic, electronic and mechanical toys, TV and computer.
- Waldorf toys made from natural materials. They don't have an explicit function in the game. One and the same block, depending on the child's imagination, can become part of a built house, a load for a car, or some character.
- Imitation - as a way of learning about the world in preschool age. Not artificially created activities for the child, but joining the creativity of adults. This is how the craving for learning appears and remains.
- Free play with minimal adult intervention. Children replay everyday situations, while getting a reliable idea of the world around them.
- Lack of classes with abstract concepts in the form of letters and numbers. Instead, the child sculpts with wax, tries himself in painting in a raw way, sews, felts, engages in woodcarving.
- Rhythms and repetitions harmonize the development of the child. The rhythm is subject to the daily routine, week and the whole year.
- Alternation during the day of "labor" activities (sewing, knitting, felting, processing of stone and metal) and "artistic and aesthetic" (music lessons, painting, gymnastics, rhythmic games).
- The main thing is the individuality of each child. There are no comparisons with other children, no social and material differences. This is how the talents of any child are revealed.
