Admission scholarships

For new foreign students, regardless of nationality, the university gives scholarships in the amount of CAN $ 1,000 to CAN $ 10,000. The procedure for awarding and issuing scholarships depends on the student's academic performance, his extracurricular activities and other successes, as well as on the chosen curriculum.

International Presidents Entrance Scholarships

Outstanding foreign students are offered scholarships in the amount of CAD $ 50,000, which are awarded on the basis of particularly high academic performance, creative and innovative thinking, and active participation in the life of the university.

University of Waterloo

International Student Entrance Scholarships

Foreign students entering the first year of full-time undergraduate programs at the University of Waterloo are given scholarships in the amount of CAN $ 10,000. For scholarships, it is important to have high academic performance. When enrolling in programs in the field of mathematics, computer science, accounting and financial management, a student must also show good results in entrance testing.

University of British Columbia

International Major Entrance Scholarship

A scholarship of CAD $ 10,000 per year is issued to successful foreign undergraduate students and can be extended for the entire period of study at the university. Help is provided to students with the highest academic performance, excellent intellectual abilities and extracurricular activity.

International Tuition Awards

A similar scholarship, only in the amount of CAD $ 3,200, is offered to foreign graduate students. The scholarship is also awarded on the basis of academic merit, but it can only be received by a student who does not receive any other type of financial support in a similar or larger amount.

Outstanding International Student Award

International students with a particularly high level of academic performance and extracurricular activity receive scholarships ranging from CAN $ 2,500 to CAN $ 10,000. To receive a scholarship to a university, a special application must be submitted.
