Temporary Employment Pass
This type of visa is issued to foreigners who have signed a work contract with a Malaysian company for a period of less than 2 years with a salary of up to MYR5,000 per year. Workers in the field of production, plantation and agricultural work, services and construction aged 18 to 45 years can get such a visa for up to 5 years.

Visitor’s Pass (Professional)
This visa is issued to qualified foreign professionals working for foreign companies or planning to stay in Malaysia for up to 12 months. This type of visa is available for such specialties as a lecturer, teacher, researcher, technical consultant, service expert, independent auditor.
