British schoolchildren will be able to obtain a DJing certificate 

A DJing program has appeared in the UK - schoolchildren will be able to take exams and receive a professional certificate. The innovation will affect the inhabitants of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The program has three skill levels: Debut, Breakthrough and Artist. Skills will be assessed in the same way as for classical music and jazz.
In the exam, future DJs will be tested how they distinguish specific electronic sounds, orientate themselves in styles and genres. Techniques will also be evaluated: scratch, beat-juggling, looping.

Ideally, students will have to record their own track and develop a unique style of performance. With such a certificate, you can continue your studies at a college or university.
