History: a Kaliningrad schoolboy opened a historical museum in the basement

Vladimir Dorofeev, a 12-year-old from Kaliningrad, opened his own historical museum in the basement under his parents' apartment. In it, according to the newspaper "Klops", exhibits things found by a schoolboy in antique shops, flea markets and flea markets.
The teenager is fond of history from elementary grades: his mother, a teacher at KSTU, took him to forts and museums. At first, Vova was fond of dinosaurs, and then - the military theme: he watched films about the war, collected songs and toys.
The student began collecting things at the age of eight, when he found a gas mask bag from the Second World War. The finds gradually filled the children's room, so the parents suggested that Vova move the entire collection to the basement. No sooner said than done: the teenager put things in order in the basement, hung up the shelves and placed the exhibition.
According to the young collector, there are about a thousand exhibits in his museum. For example, a bottle is stored on one of the shelves, the cost of which reaches seven thousand rubles. At other stands there are shell casings, gas masks, shields and other things.
There are no showcases in the museum so that visitors can touch any exhibit. By the way, people come in, however, so far only by chance: the house in which Vova lives is shaped like a sickle with a courtyard inside, so tourists often drop in there for pictures. The teenager takes advantage of the moment and offers them a little excursion at the same time.
“I remember my first visitors. They photographed the house, and I told them: "Would you like to visit the museum?" They said, "Come on, boy." They even gave a rare coin afterwards, ”said Vova.
The entrance ticket costs 50 rubles. You can come to Vova for an excursion on a weekday morning or on a weekend, find out the address and follow the museum's news here.
